Dear Ms. Childress,
On
January 15, 1999 I saw a television news show, 20/20, which showed Dr. Thomas
Wiswell, a professor of pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University in
Philadelphia Pa., perform what is believed by me to be a contraindicated
procedure on Derrick Krumb. Derrick Krumb was held against his will and
administered two shots of an anesthetic. Despite the anesthetic the infant cried
when his prepuce was savagely separated from his glans.
The
presumed contraindicated procedure took place at Thomas Jefferson Hospital on an
undeterminable date. Film crews and interviews from Dr. Timothy Johnson clearly
show that a penile reduction took place.
As
an informed lay-person , based on the reporting of the tv. show 20/20, I
contend:
1. There were no indications that warranted a penile reduction.
2. The parents had not the legal right to consent to a contraindicated
procedure.
3. Dr. Wiswell acted in violation of State and Federal laws.
4. Dr. Wiswell violated the Hippocratic Oath.
5. A proper informed consent was not afforded to the parents of Derrick Krumb.
6. Derrick Krumb is a victim of sex discrimination.
7. Derrick Krumb is a victim of forced servitude.
8. Derrick Krumb is rendered as sexually dysfunctional and will suffer certain
and undeterminable side effects as a result of a contraindicated procedure.
9. No pathology report was done as a result of this amputation.
10. The hospital, physician, staff, parents, reporter, ABC, and film crew acted
irresponsibly in allowing the torture and sexual assault of Derrick Krumb.
These
allegations are brief and are not limited to a very long list of criminal
allegations that could be placed on all persons directly involved in the human
rights violation of the infant.
The
only person who had the legal right to consent to the cosmetic procedure was the
underage victim himself
Respectfully,
[signed]
