Dear OB,
Our records indicate that you continue to perform routine infant
circumcision despite current recommendations by ACOG, AAP, AMA, and
other medical organizations worldwide which do not support routine
infant circumcision. This letter is to inform you that your name
continues on our roster of physicians who fail to comply with these
professional guidelines and who violate the basic human rights of the
child as outlined in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human
Rights. Our roster of circumcisers is available online to clients wishing
to avoid a physician who does not adhere to professional and ethical codes
regarding the rights of the child, to clients who wish to check their
current physician's status, as well as to clients wishing to prosecute
physicians for performing unnecessary sexual surgery on them without their
consent.
If our records are incorrect and you have ceased the practice of
surgically altering the healthy genitals of unconsenting minors, please
let us know so that we may correct our records to reflect this. Also
please let us know at which stage of change you are; ie do you still refer
parents to other circumcisers or do you vigorously educate parents
about normal genitalia and the structure and function of the male and
female prepuce, and refer parents to psychologists if they insist on
unnecessary, painful surgery for their normal, healthy child. If you wish
